1. Professional Guidance Only

PoolComply.co.uk is a support tool designed for qualified Pool Plant Operators (PPOs). It is not a substitute for:

Professional training and certification
Your professional judgment and expertise
Onsite physical testing and verification
Manufacturer guidelines and instructions
Site-specific Normal Operating Procedures (NOPs)

Important: As the operator, you remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all chemical readings, dosing calculations, and compliance checks before taking any action.

2. Calculation & Data Warnings

While we align our algorithms with PWTAG (Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group) and HSE (Health and Safety Executive) guidelines, please be aware of the following:

Chemical Dosing Calculations

Any dosing recommendations provided by the system are estimates only. You must:

Verify all calculations against your specific plant dynamics
Cross-reference with chemical manufacturer instructions
Consider your facility's unique characteristics
Apply your professional judgment before dosing

LSI & Target Values

Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) calculations and automated target ranges are provided for guidance purposes only. Always defer to your site-specific Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and PWTAG profiles.

Your Responsibility: All outputs from this system must be independently verified by a qualified operator before any action is taken.

3. Limitation of Liability

By using this platform, you acknowledge that PoolComply.co.uk (and its developers, Neil Sanderson) accepts no liability for:

Operational downtime or facility closures
Chemical imbalances or water quality issues
Equipment damage or malfunction
Financial losses or business interruption resulting from reliance on this data
Any decisions made based on information provided by this platform
Third-party claims arising from your use of this service

4. User Responsibilities

By using PoolComply.co.uk, you confirm that:

You are a qualified Pool Plant Operator or are supervised by one
You will independently verify all calculations before taking action
You will not rely solely on this software for compliance decisions
You will report any bugs, errors, or concerns to us promptly
You will maintain your own backup records as required by PWTAG

5. Team Accounts & Billing

PoolComply accounts can have multiple team members with different roles (for example, an Administrator, Managers, and Pool Plant Operators). By giving someone access to your account, you confirm that:

Any team member you grant access to may add pools, spas, or saunas to your account
Each pool, spa, or sauna added is billed at our standard per-facility rate and takes effect on your subscription immediately, not just at your next renewal
You (the account holder) are responsible for managing who has access to your account and for reviewing the facilities and charges on it
We notify your account's administrator when a team member adds a facility, but this does not replace your own responsibility to manage your team's access

6. Data & Privacy

We take your data seriously:

All data is stored on secure UK-based servers
We are GDPR compliant
Your facility data is never shared with third parties
You can request data export or deletion at any time

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PoolComply.co.uk are owned by Neil Sanderson and are protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the platform at any time, with or without cause. We will provide reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
